Ash and Willow visit an Organic Farm

Ash Class and Willow had a fantastic day on their farm trip last Friday at Lower Hewood Farm, where they explored what life is like on an organic farm. The visit helped the children build on their recent learning about the life cycle of plants, bringing their enquiries to life in a real-world setting.

During the trip, the children enjoyed meeting the chickens and were delighted to see the lambs up close.

Another highlight of the day was visiting the farm kitchen field, where they even had the opportunity to pull up some crops and try them.
